Spring Equinox Secrets : The Breathwork to Make Your Life Bloom

Spring Equinox is upon us, a time when the universe seems to whisper, "Let's grow!" It's the final subtle shift from winter to the life and vitality of spring. Made all the more magical by the shift of the zodiac wheel to its own new year. If you've been feeling the urge to shed the old and step into a new, you're not alone. I've been riding the same wave, navigating through the pre-shadow of Mercury retrograde with a bit of humor and A LOT of deep breaths.

As the earth tilts to gift us with equal day and night, we too find ourselves at a balance point, teetering between the past and the potential of our future. It's a cosmic nudge to align our growth with the natural world, to plant the seeds of our dreams with intention.

Remember the reflective depths of Pisces season, when we wrapped up loose ends and whispered goodbyes to chapters that no longer served us? That was our prep work. Now, as the earth begins to bloom, so do we. Now its time to gently support our fresh starts.

Picture this: You've planted an avocado tree, much like my friend Roz, who understands the virtue of patience in gardening and nature. It takes time for the tree to bear fruit. Sometimes years, but never mere months. A reminder that good things don't rush their coming. In our world of instant-gratification, this is a gentle call to slow down, to tend to our growth with the steady hand of a gardener who knows that the sweetest fruit is worth the wait.

As we step into this season of growth, I invite you to join me in a breathwork journey, a practice that mirrors the nurturing we're extending to our budding dreams. Let's breathe in the possibilities of what can be, and exhale the remnants of what was. It's an exercise in faith, in believing that what we cultivate within will find its way to flourish in the external world.

JOURNAL PROMPTS for the equinox energies.

Reflection on Growth: Think about the new beginnings or changes you initiated during the Pisces phase of "beginning again." Now that some time has passed, reflect on how these changes have started to grow and evolve. What signs of growth can you see? How do you feel about these developments?

Nurturing Your Path: Consider what your new beginnings need to flourish fully. Are there specific actions, resources, or support you need to provide for yourself to nurture your growth? Write down the steps you can take to ensure that your new paths are well-supported and have the best chance to thrive.

Envisioning the Future: Imagine yourself a few months from now, at the peak of your growth and blossoming in the context of your new beginnings. What does this future look like? How have your efforts in nurturing your new paths manifested in your life? Describe this future in detail, focusing on the feelings, achievements, and changes that have come to fruition.

Here's to the Spring Equinox and to the balance it brings.Tune into my podcast  to experience the breathwork and delve deeper. As always, here's to healing, growing, and thriving—on your terms.
